China Fun Buffett in Madisonville

Small and not much variety compared to other buffets we have been to. They didn't replenish the food often despite being busy. For the price, we would probably not visit again.

They're always kind and friendly here. If my husband and I go in without our daughter, the owner always gives us an extra fortune cookie to take home to her. They're happy to cook something fresh for you if you don't see it on the buffet or if you want more. Overall a great place owned by wonderful members of the local community.

It was ok. Some of the food was cold

The most disgusting food i have ever eaten in my life. The crab rangoon tastes like pure grease. The lo mein was dark brown and every other dish had so much cornstarch in it, it coated my mouth. The egg rolls were dried beyond recognition. I will never eat there again. Also i got two to-go containers which were tiny and that cost me $20. If i could rate a negative number i would they need to be shut down.

This place is gross. The few times we ate here we always ended up sick. Definitely will not be going back.

Great people and the foods good

Extremely disappointed in my recent visit here. I used to love coming to this place but the buffet had almost no food stocked and they never brought out any fresh food. I don't know if I'll be back.

The food is good and service is good if you ever get the chance you should try dining here.

COLD food and a waitress that spent 20 min yelling at someone on the phone about 5 feet from my table. Nothing labeled so hard to tell what you were eating. Did I mention COLD FOOD?

We love going and eating the peppered shrimp we was going on every Wednesday night till it was take out only when it opens back up for dine in we will be back great service and good food

Friendly service but the quality of food has gone down a bit. It was dry and looked like it has been sitting there for a while and it was 6pm. Expected it to be fresh at dinner. Highly priced for low quality food.

Lo Mein was very good... best I had on a Buffett , everything else was sub par... their crab Rangoon was spicy and very good big triangles , I drove 18 miles just to take kids to a Buffett cuz their wasn't one in sweetwater, ladies are very nice and accommodating , didn't mind that my son's friend brought in his pizza from next store, it was nice calm atmosphere

It’s good food but the waitress is always bad. It’s the same one every time. She leaned over me and knocked over my drink several times and made me drop my fork. I think it’s just rude. Don’t lean, pour, or grab something over me.

$33.80 for me an 8 year old and a 5 year old. I realize it's a buffet, but if you have kids that don't eat much I wouldn't bring them here. Basically my 5 year old ate 2 chicken nuggets and a cheese stick and it was 10 dollars.

Went for weekday buffet. Decent collection of food and friendly staff. A bit of everything really filled up the stomach. Kids also liked it here.

The food is so good I could eat there everyday. I've been a regular customer since they opened and it's definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the surrounding area.

The food is average quality for a Chinese buffet. The price is a bit high compared to the quality of the food. The service is good and the staff is friendly.

If I could give -1 I would. Worst restaurant in monroe county. The food is never fresh. As one other reviewer said "eat at your own risk"

Food is always fresh They make it in smaller portions so it's fresh Sometimes there isn't enough when it's busy. But they will bring more you just have to wait Service is decent. I would give it a higher rating if there was more variety

Aug 3rd visited, pulled a to go plate not realizing the tiny section for $11.00. Since got plate started I didnt have much on it of not knowing $11. Ask for ice cream as only desert, said be another $1. Lol at them because I can go to full buffet in Lenoir City for $8.99 lunch. Charging supper for lunch. Bye China not so Fun to overcharge customers.

very small...which is nice, but also means very minimum choice of food on the buffet. Friendly server...but, that's about it. no salad bar. My boyfriend and I both agree it would be good as a backup plan at best (which it was, because the first Asian buffet we were wanting to go to is closed on Mondays 😕) Also, sidenote...the crab Rangoon are emptt...see pic.

Food Was Great.. What else can i say.. Service.. Friendly.. I really was amazed.. at the flavors of each other dish.. I will go back.. Dinner for 2.. $22.

The food wasn't very good, had a weird taste. Staff was not very friendly. Bathrooms were disgusting. I will not be back.

Me and my fiancée went here tonight at 8:30 pm, a little late but they stay open until 10:30pm. When we got there we were seated and we got up to fix our plates. There was almost nothing on the buffet at all. We got a few little things here and there the last of most of it. What we got was cold and you could tell had been sitting for a while but that was expected. What really made us mad is we sat there for almost an hour and they NEVER BOUGHT OUT ANY MORE FOOD. What is the point in staying open with an empty buffet? We sat there patiently waiting for more food to come out until they bought us our bill. At which time I realized they had no intention on bringing anything else out. So I paid our $23 bill for the food we didn't get to eat and said we'd never come back. That was the worst experience I've ever had here.

I love their frog legs and grilled shrimp but have to end up asking them to put more on the bar I eat a lot of it and they don't like putting it out and the last time I was there they didn't have frog legs.

Okay, so this place gave me food poisoning and when I called they hung up on me so I called back and she absolutely refused a refund. I had to refill my own drink and they let the plates pile up. Absolutely terrible experience!!!!

Pretty good for the price

13.00 for hot garbage. I watched the waitress pick mussels off the Buffett and put them in my food they were suppose to be cooking fresh. The sauce was flavorless and I had to throw my food away!!!! I will not be back !!!!!!!

We really enjoyed their buffet great sellection extra friendly staff. Cleanest restaurant l've ever dined in. Well worth a trip to Madisonville.

A great place for an all you can eat Chinese lunch or Dinner. No thrills, just good food, and good value.

The quality of food has gone down quite a bit. When they had frog legs on the buffet that was a plus. For the money they charge they could do better.

We gave it a chance, but it was definitely below average. My 6 year old and 3 year old wouldn't eat the food. And while they can be picky sometimes, I couldn't blame them. I asked the staff to make some more french fries and they told me they were out. Most of the food was cold. I don't like to leave poor reviews, and I hope maybe the restaurant makes some improvements to the quality of the food. Our waitress was great - very sweet and attentive. No complaint about her. The food was very much below average. Don't waste your time stopping here, just move on to the next pin on the map.

The food is very old. If you eat some things like crab wontons, many times the cream cheese tastes sour. We tried it twice. No more.

Pretty good, friendly service. cups could be cleaner, there was still food in the bottom of mine. Noodles didn't have much flavor but the rest was decent!
